Do end users need to update their Customer App to access this feature?
We recommend Customer App users to either force close the old app and restart it again or to reinstall the app to get the latest version. This version upgrade will be checked every 24 hours.
We recommend users also log out and log in again to get the latest configuration if the Credential Group has been (re)configured by installers.
Installer Technician failed to move a site into an existing Credential Group or to another Credential Group
An Installer Technician does not have the privilege to do this on active sites. An Installer Manager or Organization Manager can do this.
Installer Mode must also be turned for at least one site in the Credential Group when modifying the Credential Group (e.g. adding a site).
Do the sites need to be in Installer Mode to make changes?
At least one site in the Credential Group must be in for changes to be made to the Credential Group.
What if the customer doesn't want a site in a Credential Group anymore?
In the SMB Installer Portal, open the site and click the drop-down menu.
Select Remove from Group. The Remove from Group lightbox displays.
A warning will appear. Click OK to remove the site from the Credential Group.
WARNING: Removing a site from its current credential group will deactivate all site credentials. The site will then become a standalone site that can regenerate its own credentials.
How do I know what sites are in a Credential Group?
In the Installer Portal, select COLUMNS and choose 'Credential Group'.
I don't see the Credential Group column on my Installer Portal mobile view
The mobile view only shows 2 columns due to size limitations. You can view the Credential Group name as part of the site's title on the site page, if the site is in a Credential Group.
