Controller Replacement
The controller replacement process ensures that all existing data is transferred to the new unit automatically. The controller replacement is only required if the current SMB Controller is faulty. Please ensure the new controller is online before the process is initiated.
On the customer site, open the Controller lightbox and click REPLACE.
Replace by either:
Scanning QR Code: Click Scan controller QR code, scan the QR printed on the controller (use phone photo if on a laptop), then click NEXT.
Entering Controller ID: Type the ID (printed below the QR code) into the Controller ID field, then click NEXT.
A loading spinner will show data transfer progress.
On success, you’ll see: "Your controller has been replaced! All previous data has been transferred to this new controller."
