Approver Group Self-Management

Approvers can review and manage who has the privilege to oversee their specific areas and update the approver group email.

This function is intended for area managers handling e.g. specific building or physical department. It displays only the areas the individual approver is authorised to manage.

Review Approvers of an Area

This function is restricted to approvers, enabling them to manage only the areas they are authorised to oversee.

Go to Areas module

It shows the areas you are privileged to manage.

Click on the select Area.

The area management feature provides two tabs:

  • the Approvers tab, listing individuals who can approve area access,

  • and the Cardholders tab, showing all occupants with area access.

Review the approver list

All the approvers for this area are listed.

To remove an approver use the Bin icon.

A confirmation pop-up appears for the removal.

The removed approver will not be notified.

To add an approver, click the +Add Approver button

Start typing the approver's name. Select from the list of matching users. Any system user can be chosen as an approver.

Check the box next to the approver's name. Click Save to complete the process.

Update Approver Group Email

Approvers can view the group's description and update the approver group's email. If no email is specified, notifications about pending approvals are sent to all group members. If an email is specified, notifications are sent only to that email address.

To update the email, click the Change Group Email button, enter the new email, and click Save to confirm.
