# Training

Gallagher’s SMB Training Program is designed to give distributors, security integrators and technicians the knowledge and confidence to success with our solution. Whether they are new to Gallagher or looking to sharpen their expertise, our training can help.

The Gallagher SMB online training is made up of four modules to provide a solution overview, basic understanding of hardware installation, configuration and the SMB app. 

* **Format**: Self-paced, interactive modules with videos and knowledge checks 
* **Duration**: 2 hours total 
* **Certification**: Earn Gallagher SMB certification on completion (automatically sent)

Distributors are notified via email when a technician has completed the training.  From there the distributor is responsible for setting up Security Integrator and technicians in the SMB Installer Portal.

### In-person Training  

In addition to the online training, Gallagher can provide in-person training on a regular basis to new and existing security integrators.  This training is designed to provide interactive learning, immediate feedback and interactions, build a network of trained installers and reduce the barrier to entry.  

* **Venue**: supplied by Lead Vendor 
* **Format: In-person training with a Gallagher representative** 
* **Audience**: New or existing security integrators, 15 max per session 
* **Duration**: 4 hours (+ an hour for lunch) 
* **Requirement**: Purchase a kit for training (at a reduced trade price). 

Distributors can issue training certification upon completion.  Security Integrators and technicians must be set up in the SMB Installer Portal prior to training.
