# Installing the hardware

### SMB Kit components

Installing the Gallagher SMB Kit hardware involves the following steps:

1. Install the cabinet
2. Install readers
3. Connect inputs and outputs
4. Connect power to the controller
5. Connect the controller to the cloud
6. Initialise tampers
