# INTREPID Micropoint Sensor Fence Integration

Command Centre integrates with the **INTREPID™ Series II Perimeter Intrusion Detection System** from **Southwest Microwave**, monitoring three fence-sensor products.

## Supported sensor products

* **INTREPID™ MicroPoint™** — a sensitive cable that detects movement, run along an existing fence (it is not itself a barrier). Sensitivity is adjustable, and the system can identify the moved cable section to within **1 metre**.
* **INTREPID™ MicroTrack™** — a **buried** cable system for more subtle perimeter detection. It detects walking, running, or crawling intruders and locates them to within **3 metres**.
* **INTREPID™ MicroWave™** — generates an electromagnetic field between transmitter and receiver, creating an invisible detection zone for intruders to pass through.

## Command Centre behaviour

A line, rectangle, or area drawn on a **Site Plan** to represent a fence zone can be configured to display an **alarm state** when an alarm occurs at an Intrepid MicroPoint fence zone.

Some Gallagher **VMS integrations** let Command Centre respond by moving a **PTZ camera to a preset** (for example live footage for a particular fence zone) when a MicroPoint alarm occurs.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Check the relevant VMS integration release note to confirm DVR command support** before relying on the PTZ-preset response.
{% endhint %}

## Versions

Supported across every version, **v8.10–v9.40**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/knowledge-hub/products/integrations/perimeter-integrations/intrepid-micropoint-sensor-fence-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
