# Configure OneLink

Register a OneLink controller and connect it to Command Centre through Gallagher Cloud.

Ensure the Gallagher Cloud connection is enabled before configuring a OneLink controller. Command Centre must be connected to the Gallagher Cloud.

![Command Centre "Cloud" item Properties - Configuration tab: Enable Gallagher API Gateway (Region: Australia)](https://328339335-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F6bM8WhlBE9BYizPWJaPN%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-189f9eb9bc3d231068303b1f990ec45907f1c8ca%2FSECHUB-onelink-config-01.png?alt=media)

## In Command Centre

* Provide the MAC address and the correct serial number.
* Once applied, the controller is registered to the cloud. It is visible in the Cloud setup location.

> **Note:** the controller must connect to the server within **14 days** or the registration expires. If you are past this date, re-register using **Refresh**.

> **Note:** the controller must run firmware **9.30.360+** (package **vCR930.250422b+**) before connecting to OneLink.

## On the controller

1. Turn on **DIP switches 2 and 7**.
2. Connect the controller to the network.
3. Power on the controller.
4. Wait until the controller comes online. This typically takes 2 minutes or less.
5. Once online, turn the DIP switches off.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/knowledge-hub/products/cloud-services/onelink/configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
