# Database Call Unsuccessful on vEL8.10.1284

**Error:** "Database Call Unsuccessful." Installing or upgrading Command Centre **v8.10.1284** on a machine that uses **SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3** fails during the install or upgrade steps.

## Resolution

Upgrade the SQL Server instance to a version higher than SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 that is supported by Command Centre v8.10. It is recommended to use **SQL Server 2017/2019 Express**, which is included with the Command Centre installer.
