# Command Centre limits

Reference Command Centre software and controller configuration limits.

Use these limits when configuring Command Centre clients, automation, access, alarms, and controllers. For controller hardware capacity, see the controller limits reference.

#### Command Centre Client limits (head end)

* **Alarm Comments:** 1024 characters
* **Status Viewer:** 24 panes, with a maximum of 100 items per pane
* **Related to search:** maximum of 10 items in the "related to" field
* **Cardholder Wizard:** maximum of 1000 cardholders at a time

#### What limits do actions plans have?

* An action plan can have up to **256 output items** within it.

#### What other limits does Command Centre have?

* **Default Club (Access Group) capacity** of a controller = **2000**
* **Default Diary (Schedule) capacity** = **400**

#### What are the access zone limits?

* A maximum of **256 access zones per controller**.
* A maximum of **16 card facility codes per controller**.
* As of 7.90: up to **256 third-party facility codes** can be supported (non-Gallagher encoded cards). The limit of **16** facility codes remains for **Gallagher encoded cards**.
* T-Series readers are configured with the first 16 facility codes to assist them in identifying Gallagher data sectors to read.

#### What are the alarm zone limits?

* A maximum of **255 alarm zones per controller**.
* An alarm zone requires a part input against the controller's alarm part. Because of the limit of inputs per part, there can only be 255 zones per controller.

#### What are the interlock group limits?

* Maximum of **20 doors per interlock group**.

#### Remote Arming Terminal (RAT) / Keypad

* Maximum alarm zones managed by a keypad = **30**
* Maximum inputs to monitor = **100**
* Maximum fence zones to monitor = **50**

#### What is the logic block limit?

* Maximum logic rules = **10**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/knowledge-hub/products/cc-software/reference/command-centre-limits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
