# Resistor values utility

Load Gallagher-provided custom end-of-line resistor values into Command Centre.

The **EOL Resistors Loader** utility loads custom End-of-Line resistor values into the Command Centre database. Once loaded, the new EOL resistance options become selectable from a hardware item's property pages.

***

## What it does

* Loads new custom EOL resistor values into the Gallagher Command Centre database.
* The new EOL resistance options it adds are then configurable from the hardware item's property pages (where inputs are supervised).
* It only loads new custom EOL resistor values **from the provided CSV file** into the Command Centre database. **The CSV file is generated by the Gallagher development teams.**
* The utility **cannot be used to generate new custom EOL resistor values** itself. It is a loader only.

## How to get unsupported values

If you have a requirement for EOL resistor values that are not currently supported, **contact Gallagher Security Technical Support**. They arrange the CSV of values for the loader.

As newer values are added into Command Centre via the tool, these are often rolled into the later production versions, so a value loaded by the utility today may ship as a built-in option in a future release.

Additional values have been supported on older versions of Command Centre. Contact Gallagher Technical Support for details on what is available for a specific version.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/knowledge-hub/products/cc-software/configure/command-centre-custom-eol-resistor-val.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
