# Add a Gallagher credential

Add a second Gallagher credential to a DESFire card with Encoding Kiosk.

This procedure adds a second Gallagher access credential to an already-encoded DESFire card. The new credential uses the same card number as the original, but a different Facility Code and a different Site Specific Key. It is documented for the CC 9.40 release of the tool.

### Requirements

1. SSK for the Primary Site and password for the SSK file.
2. SSK for the Secondary Site and password for the SSK file.
3. A licence with `EncodingKioskApp=1` and `Encoding=1` under features, and both Facility Codes listed under `EncodingKioskFCs`.
4. A C41007 USB encoder.

### Configure the User Interface tab

1. On startup, go to the **User Interface** tab.
2. Set a Configuration Password and select **Save**.

### Configure the Primary Site credential

3. Go to the **Credentials** tab and select **+**.
4. Enter a name for the Primary encoding credential. This is the system that encoded the card first.
5. Change the Credential Party from **Third party** to **Gallagher**.

6. Select **MIFARE DESFire** to add the SSK from the Primary Site.
7. Select **+**, select **Gallagher Key Seed**, then select the folder icon.

8. Follow the dialog to load the keys from the Primary Site.
9. Because this is the first site that encoded the card, add a **Default App Key**. Select the folder and add the same SSK you added above. It contains the Default App Key.

10. Select **OK**. You should now have the Primary keys loaded.

### Configure the Secondary Site credential

11. Select **+** again.
12. Enter a name for the Secondary Site details and select **Gallagher** under Credential Party.

13. Select the **MIFARE DESFire** tab.
14. Add the **Gallagher Key Seed** option and select the folder. Follow the dialog to add the SSK keys from the Secondary Site.

15. Select **OK**.

Additional secondary sites can be added at this stage to encode more Gallagher access objects onto cards if required.

### Configure the Mappings tab

16. Select the **Mappings** tab, then select **+**.
17. Configure the Kiosk to look for the credential of the source Facility Code, and put on a new credential with the Facility Code in the Destination Value. Both must be on the licence.

### Configure the Channels tab

18. Select the **Channels** tab, then select **+**.
19. Select the Secondary Site as the Destination Credential.

20. Select **+** to configure the second credential to be encoded from the Facility Code.

21. Select **OK**.
22. Check the box under **Enable**.

23. Select **Save**.
24. Select **Verify**. The tool checks whether it has enough data to encode.
