# Evacuation reporting and exports

After an evacuation ends, Kenai keeps a consolidated post-event report for it under the **Evacuation** menu. The report covers every alert dispatched, every status response, every muster-point sign-out, and the final safety status of everyone onsite when the event was triggered. You can drill into any past event, refine what it shows, and export it as a CSV or Excel file for your records.

This page covers reporting after the event. To run an evacuation, see [Run an evacuation](/command-centre/visitor-management-powered-by-kenai/evacuation/run-an-evacuation.md).

## Open the evacuation history

Select **Evacuation** in the left-hand menu to see the full history of evacuation events in the **Evacuation Logs** list. Each row shows the **Site**, **Started** and **Ended** times, **Status**, **Initiator**, and **Audience**.

Use the date-range filter to set which events are listed. Presets include **Today**, **Yesterday**, **Last 7 days**, **Last 30 days**, **Last 3 months**, **Year to date**, and **Last year**. Pick a range and click **Apply**.

## Open one event's report

Select an event in the list to open its **Evacuation Responses** report. Employees and visitors are listed together for that single event. Expand any response row to see its full history: the channel each response came through, its timestamp, any comment, and the user.

Kenai's standard tools are available here to shape the report:

* **Search** to find a specific response.
* **Columns** to choose which columns show.
* **Filters** on the response columns.

## Export the report

Export the open event's report for compliance records.

{% step %}

### Open the export menu

Click **Export** in the top right of the **Evacuation Responses** report.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Choose a format

Select **Download as CSV** or **Download as Excel**. Kenai confirms the export.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Click **Back** to return to the **Evacuation Logs** list.

## Report across multiple sites

For accounts with access to more than one location, use the site selector at the top of the **Evacuation Logs** list to filter the history by site, or select several sites to view their logs together.

The list also carries Kenai's **Columns**, **Filters**, and **Saved Views** tools, plus an export control, so you can extract the exact log details you need.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/command-centre/visitor-management-powered-by-kenai/evacuation/evacuation-reporting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
