Command Centre imported lists let you transfer information from Command Centre to AccessNow. You can use features such as Access Groups, Personal Data Fields (PDFs), and Card Types to set up workflows.
Refer to the Command Centre guide for a detailed explanation of Access Groups, Personal Data Fields, and Card Types.
The following instructions apply to all list types that contain information imported from Command Centre, including Access Groups, PDFs, and Card Types.
See the Command Centre Integration section for details. You need an active Command Centre connection to import items from the system.
After importing a list you can change item names in AccessNow to make it more intuitive for users requesting access and configuring the workflows. By default, items retain their names from Command Centre, which can sometimes be confusing for those unfamiliar with internal terminology.
Renaming list items is especially helpful for Access Groups, as they are visible to the requester when selecting the areas they need access to. The new name is visible for the Access Group when users make access requests.
Renaming Card Types, on the other hand, can make it easier for physical credential approvers to choose the correct credential type from the available list.
It is possible to hide some imported items from users. For example, the requester cannot view hidden access groups and therefore cannot request access to them.
By default, all imported items are visible, so hiding is used to exclude them from visibility in workflow configuration and workflow steps.
Hiding an Access Group is especially useful for highly secure areas that should not be available in AccessNow. It can also be used to hide commonly available areas that all occupants can access by default and do not need to request in AccessNow.
To synchronise AccessNow lists with the Command Centre system, use the Sync Items function. This feature aligns Command Centre configuration with the relevant AccessNow list, ensuring updates when new items are added or removed in Command Centre.
New items: Newly imported items are initially hidden. To display them to occupants, uncheck the Hide box.
Items deleted from Command Centre: Items deleted from the Command Centre are automatically removed from AccessNow.
Items deleted from AccessNow: If an item is deleted only from AccessNow and not from the Command Centre, it is re-added to AccessNow as hidden.
Modified items: Any changes to item details in AccessNow are reverted to the original Command Centre settings. This includes restoring the original link (Reference). However, if an item is renamed in AccessNow, the AccessNow name will remain unchanged.
Item synchronisation with Command Centre is manual, there is no automatic synchronisation.
