# AccessNow Onboarding Project Plan

Once it is confirmed that the customer meets the [feasibility assessment](/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/new-customer-account/new-customer-feasibility-assessment.md), this detailed step-by-step guide assists with setting up a *new customer with AccessNow*. The process includes the following high-level steps.

## 1. Command Centre Assessment&#x20;

Ensure that the following requirements for the AccessNow Command Center setup are addressed. Refer to the [customer feasibility assessment](https://help.security.gallagher.com/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/new-customer-account/pages/7fMln8JJWxMkOPph4tUZ#id-2.-command-centre-site-set-up) for details on considerations.

* A single AccessNow tenancy supports only one Command Centre server.&#x20;
* We require **Command Centre version 9.1 or later.**&#x20;
* Cardholders must first be created in the Command Centre before they can make requests in AccessNow e.g. via Active Direcotry sync.&#x20;
* All Access Groups from Command Centre appear as a **flat list** in AccessNow. You can hide or rename them. Evaluate the usability of your Access Group list to ensure it allows end users to easily select the areas they need access to.

## 2. Commercials&#x20;

* The customer must have an **active Care Plan** to qualify for the AccessNow subscription.
* Ask your Gallagher Security representative for an AccessNow service **quote**.&#x20;
* To initiate onboarding, the **Channel Partner must submit a Purchase Order (PO)** to Gallagher Security.

## 3. Legal, Compliance & Operational Requirements &#x20;

* Organizations frequently need to verify new service terms. Please consult the documents below to ensure that AccessNow complies with the organization's policies.

Submit any additional customer **Requests For Information (RFIs)** to Gallagher Security promptly to ensure timely processing before service onboarding.

## 4. Kick-Off & Account Creation&#x20;

* A formal project kickoff occurs when a channel partner submits the [onboarding form](/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/new-customer-account/new-account-request.md) **and** **a PO**. The form contains details to initiate AccessNow account creation.&#x20;
* To set up the account, you will need the below branding assets. Please refer to the [Account Branding](/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/new-customer-account/account-branding.md) section for more details.
  * Customer branding **colors** and **logo**
  * Custom **URL** (optional, can also be set up later)

## 5. Single Sign-On Configuration&#x20;

To enable users to make requests or manage the system, they need to authenticate through Single Sign-On (SSO). Configuration of SSO is done in collaboration ith the customer's IT team. It is vital to address all their requirements regarding external systems, compliance, or security reviews early in the process of verifying internal compliance requirements.

Gallagher Security can work directly with the customer's IT team on SSO configuration. The Channel Partner or Project Manager should obtain the necessary **IT team contact details** and pass them on to Gallagher Security.

## 6. Channel Partner Training &#x20;

* To ensure smooth AccessNow Channel Partner onboarding, all partners must be trained on configuring AccessNow. Channel partners have to familiarize themselves with the following training materials:

* It is highly recommended that the channel partner representative who handles the AccessNow configuration has a **one-on-one session** with a member of the Gallagher Security staff (trainers, TAMs, or AccessNow Product Team).&#x20;

## 7. Workflows Set Up & Testing&#x20;

The workflow configuration should be performed by the trained Channel Partner, with support from Gallagher Security when necessary. It is recommended to review resources on [workflow mapping](/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/workflow-creation/workflow-mapping.md) and [configuration](/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/workflow-creation/creating-and-managing-workflows.md) to understand what workflows are, how to map them, and how to configure them in AccessNow.
