# Allow-listing AccessNow Notification Email Address

To ensure AccessNow notification emails are delivered directly to recipients' inboxes without triggering "external sender" warnings or spam alerts, you can allow-list the service email address.

{% hint style="info" %}
AccessNow notifications come from the **<accessnow@security.gallagher.cloud>** email address.
{% endhint %}

The organisation’s IT team or email administrator should be able to add the AccessNow email address or domain to the company-wide allowlist or safe-senders list. Ensure their approval and proper security assessment are in place.

This is the most reliable way to avoid "external sender" warnings when organisations use Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, or another enterprise email security tool.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Security consideration:**\
While allow‑listing can improve email delivery, your organisation should independently assess the security implications before applying it. Any whitelisting is performed at your organisation’s own discretion and responsibility, in line with internal security policies.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.security.gallagher.com/command-centre/accessnow-user-guide/help-resources/allow-listing-accessnow-notification-email-address.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
